Built-in wardrobes and sliding wardrobe doors in Batemans Bay, made to suit your room

Bedroom robe too small, or doors that rattle and stick? We build wardrobes in our own Batemans Bay workshop to make the most of the space you've actually got, rather than squeezing in a stock size. From a simple robe with sliding doors to a full fit-out with drawers, shelves and shoe racks, we'll measure it at your place, then build it and fit it for you.

Interiors & doors

I measure every built-in wardrobe on site and we build it to order in our Batemans Bay workshop, so the inside suits the room you've actually got. For new builds and existing homes alike, you can have single or double hanging space, a bank of drawers, a bank of shelves, and shoe and storage racks, mixed to suit the way you live. The sliding wardrobe doors then come in textured colour, mirror doors, glass or raw MDF, each made to fit your opening.

Door finishes

Choose the sliding door finish that suits your room

Our sliding wardrobe doors come in four finishes: textured colour, mirrored, glass and raw MDF. Pick the one you like best and we'll measure the opening to suit. If you have a finish in mind that isn't here, tell us and we might be able to get it in, if you can give us a bit of time.

Two ways to fit out a robe

A full fit-out, or the everyday one done really well

Most new builds go with the everyday fit-out: a white interior with hanging space, a few shelves and drawers, and sliding doors that work well. If you'd like more, we can build the full fit-out, with extra drawers, shoe racks and double hanging.

Installation

What happens on the day

On installation day our team does the lot, and we'll leave everything clean and tidy when we go.

  1. We take out the old robe

Any existing doors, tracks or shelving are carefully cleared out.

  2. We fit your new wardrobe

The carcass, interior fit-out and sliding doors go in, built to your measurements.

  3. A walkthrough and clean-up

I'll adjust the doors, clean up and walk you through everything before we leave.

Wardrobe questions

Every wardrobe we build comes with a two-year warranty. If your question isn't covered below, send it through by email or the form, or ring the workshop if you'd rather.

Choosing a wardrobe

Who builds custom wardrobes in Batemans Bay?

We do, at Wards Wardrobes & Showerscreens. I measure every wardrobe on site and we build it to order in our own Batemans Bay workshop, so nothing is ever a stock size.

What door finishes are available?

You can choose from textured colour, mirrored, glass and raw MDF, all on sliding doors made to fit your opening.

Do you do mirror wardrobe doors?

We do. Mirrored sliding doors are one of our four door finishes, alongside glass, textured colour and raw MDF, and they're all made to fit your opening.

Do you build wardrobes for new builds?

We do, for new builds and existing homes alike. Give us a call when the room is ready and I'll come out to measure up.

Replacing and new doors

Can you replace an old built-in wardrobe?

We can. We'll take out the old doors, tracks or shelving and put in a new robe made to your measurements.

Can you put new doors on my existing wardrobe?

Yes. We'll measure your existing robe opening, then make and fit new sliding doors to suit, in mirror, glass, textured colour or raw MDF.

Do your wardrobes come with a warranty?

They do. Every wardrobe we build comes with a two-year warranty.

Cost and timing

How much does a built-in wardrobe cost?

Because every wardrobe is made to measure, the price comes down to the size of the space, the fit-out inside and the door finish you choose. The easiest way to find out is to let me come and measure up, and you'll have your quote before anything is ordered.

How long does a wardrobe install take?

Once your wardrobe is made, I'll book in a fitting day that suits you. On the day we take out the old unit and put in the new carcass and doors, and I'll walk you through it all before we leave.

Do I need to measure the room first?

You don't. I measure every wardrobe on site. A rough width helps us plan, but that's all.
